About Littlehampton Quakers

Littlehampton Quakers are a small but lively community of adults and childen who come together regularly for Meeting for Worship

We also have opportunities for fellowship, study and open mornings where we raise funds for different charities

Littlehampton Quakers have many links in the local community and beyond.  We are members of Littlehampton Churches Together.

Littlehampton Quakers are a Friendly group who explore spirituality by meeting together. Meetings for Worship are held in silence. If moved, anyone can share a thought or insight and this may enhance the gathered stillness. Each person has their own set of beliefs but there is a common view that there is that of God or the Universal Spirit within every living being. Accessing it can help and guide our daily lives.

Children's Meeting

Children and families are very welcome at any time.  We have books and toys available every Sunday but on the first Sunday of every month, we organise special activities for children.  This might be in a separate room, but from time to time we organise an 'All Age Worship', where children and adults spend time together sharing quiet worship and activities on a theme, for example on 'Peace' or 'Sustainability'.  Bringing children to a largely silent meeting can be rather daunting but children are quite often calmed by the quiet atmosphere, if not we enjoy their special contribution to 'ministry'!
